All About NASA's Artemis Program

Artemis
Artemis is the new space program of NASA which include the America's First woman and next man to the Moon. It helps to study the challenges in establishing base
on the Moon in 2024. The mission's goal is to explore the Moon mainly the south pole. It laid the foundation of a long-term journey in space and human colonies on Mars. NASA aims to complete this mission in 2024 and then the second mission is to establish humans on Moon in 2008 with the help of national and international agencies that speeds up the others mission in deep space.
The Artemis name taken from the goddess of Moon from Greek mythology.


Wheels of the Mission

NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) and Orion spacecraft carry the astronauts to the lunar orbit where they dock to the Gateway (Space Station) in the lunar orbit. From this outpost the crew land to the Moon and after return to it for their journey to home.

This mission is to investigate the lunar surface for interplanetary base, presence of water, potential of the develop technologies to extract minerals and fuels for our future need and space explorations. It also helps in determining how much are human capable of sustaining in space or in different environments.
